l’anno
che sta per concludersi - uno dei più drammatici della storia recente -
ha visto il Centro studi Rosario Livatino impegnato quotidianamente,
anche nei mesi estivi, nell’illustrare pro e contro delle norme di
eccezione varate per l’emergenza Covid 19,
e per evitare che l’attenzione concentrata sui danni della pandemia
impedisse di valutare la gravità di leggi ancora in discussione come
quella sull’omofobia o di decisioni giudiziarie ostili alla vita e alla
famiglia.
Insieme alla cura giornaliera del nostro sito e all’uscita della rivista L-Jus abbiamo curato, grazie all’editore Cantagalli, la pubblicazione del libro Omofobi per legge? sul testo Zan e del libro In vece del Popolo italiano, sulla crisi della magistratura a partire dal caso Palamara, con echi e riprese dalle principali testate mediatiche.
Durante il primo lockdown abbiamo presentato un ricorso al TAR Lazio, tuttora pendente, contro la decisione del Governo di sospendere la celebrazione della S. Messa.
Abbiamo
allo studio iniziative giudiziarie riguardanti la gestione domiciliare
dell’aborto farmacologico (RU 486) e la vendita ai minori senza
prescrizione medica della pillola EllaOne.
Su
queste materie siamo costantemente impegnati in webinar - taluni
dedicati specificamente ai giovani -, in attesa di riprendere le
attività “in presenza”.

Dear lorenzo,
Years
ago, thousands of men crowded into boats, bobbing up and down on the
ocean as they approached the beach. They were part of the largest
amphibious assault the world has ever seen. What they were about to
encounter, no amount of training could prepare them for.
The
beach and the hills beyond it were massively fortified with soldiers
and weapons waiting for them to land. Most of the men on the first wave
of boats didn’t make it. They were mowed down by various weapons; they
never had a chance. One veteran in the first wave, Ray Lambert, said,
"Only seven of the 31 men on my boat made it to the beach." It’s
estimated that 90% of the frontline invading force were killed.
But,
by sheer numbers and force of will, the invading force eventually
established a beachhead and began to move inland. There would be many
brutal battles ahead but, once established on the beach, the massive
fighting force that was to follow the invasion force would win the day.
As
Christians, we have landed on the shores of a spiritual Normandy, a
land controlled by a spiritual dictator far more dangerous and deadly
than Hitler. The coast we have landed on is heavily defended. The enemy
is dug in and well-armed. Its weapons are varied and complex.
Like it or not, we are part of an invasion force in the greatest war ever fought we have landed on the beaches of Normandy!
Forget
this, and you may fall asleep. Forget this, and your life may revert to
a simple, meaningless chase for comfort and ease. Forget this, and you
may find yourself stumbling through life in confusion, continually
wondering why you are being shot at and wounded.
The
enemy has various tactics to keep you from actively engaging in the
fight. Perhaps the most effective one is complacency. He hopes you will
settle into the most popular version of life, one that revolves around
comfort, self-protection, and ease.
The
devil also uses distraction. He will try to enslave you into living for
something other than God, the idols by which we are so easily trapped.
If
those weapons don’t work, then he will use lust, anger, fear, greed,
distrust of God, anxiety, and hopelessness. He will do anything to keep
you from God’s purpose for your life to pick up your weapon and join
the vast army fighting to free the earth from death.
Our
persecuted brothers and sisters across the sea are fully aware of the
battle at hand. They have much to teach us if we will just listen to
their message.
One
of their key lessons to us in the free Church is that our Kingdom isn’t
ruled by Christ… yet. We are still in the midst of a great battle. Our
team is worn down and bloodied; casualties lie everywhere on the
frontlines.
If
you haven’t already, I invite you to roll up your sleeves and care for
the wounded. Join me and build His Kingdom on the frontlines where the
persecuted are.

break the chains of oppression and set spiritual prisoners free. You
may have already discovered that caring for those on the frontlines is a

governo della Polonia e il governo dell’Ungheria hanno efficacemente
resistito al tentativo di ricatto che le istituzioni europee hanno
cercato di imporre loro.
Si
è detto che, per giorni, Polonia e Ungheria abbiano voluto impedire
l’approvazione del bilancio dell’Unione Europea (UE). Non è così, e chi
lo avesse affermato e ancora lo affermi o è ignorante o è in malafede.
In realtà è stata la UE che ha cercato prima di imporsi su Varsavia e su
Budapest, e poi di sanzionarle per il mancato rispetto di questioni nient’affatto correlate al bilancio europeo: segnatamente l’ideologia LGBT+.
La resistenza di Polonia e di Ungheria si sono svolte nei termini consentiti dalla normativa comunitaria, cioè democraticamente. E adesso la UE fa, almeno in parte, marcia indietro.

davanti a un successo così importante, Bruxelles sappia che i popoli e i
governi di Polonia e di Ungheria non sono soli in questa buona
battaglia per la verità sull’uomo e sulle cose. L’Europa è infatti
ancora abitata da europei veri persone e popoli affatto disposti a
lasciarsi calpestare da zelanti burocrati di ideologie svilenti e
innaturali.
